#307273 The Co-operative Bank has (15 Sep 2012) notified its intention to withdraw basic bank facilities for undischarged bankrupts, with effect Monday 17 September 2012.

People who already hold the Co-operatives' Cash Minder Account will not be affected and you will be permitted to continue to hold and use the account.

They are blaming what they call an unfair playing field.

This now means that the only account available to undischarged bankrupts is Barclays Cash Card Account.
