#4478 Hi,

I a bit worried about my rent being included in bankruptcy as when I pay monthly it sometimes says I’m in arrears by 2 weeks or so. I’m not it just that my rent is worked out monthly and corrects it self when I get free rent weeks as I still pay full rent then. So the rent may say I’m in arrears, I don't want this to be included, as I don't want to lose my home.

I hope you understand what I’m saying as I do ramble.

#4480 If possible try and get two weeks ahead and that way it will always look as if you are in credit. Alternatively you can prove to the OR that it is always paid on time - show him your rent book. He will check on it anyway with your landlord and if you are not in arrears for whatever reason you are not in arreats. If it is social housing - like the council for example - it would cause such a brouhaha in the press that you would not be evicted I am sure!
