At Payplan we help people who are in debt, by providing free debt advice and debt solutions which are based around what our clients are actually able to afford.

We are currently looking for Pack Takers; working on a self-employed basis you will be responsible for speaking to potential clients and gaining information about their financial situation. You will collect personal and confidential information from the individuals which relates to their income and expenditure and their family circumstances. In addition you will obtain information on their current level of debt and find out how the debt has come about.

Once you have collected all this information, and prepared comprehensive case notes, you will assess the information to decide which of our debt solutions is the most applicable. Once you have decided on the solution you will pass the completed ‘Pack’ to the relevant team within Payplan.

To be successful in this role you will need to have strong interpersonal skills together with excellent data entry, rapport building and communication skills. Your accuracy and attention to detail should be second to none. Knowledge of a second language would be an advantage but is not essential.

Working from home, we are looking for Pack Takers from across the UK. You will decide what hours you work, however, we will require that hours are worked at some point between 5pm and 8pm weekdays and 8am to 8pm at the weekends.

You will be paid on a per completed ‘Pack’ passed to our Assessment Team, although as a self-employed individual you will be responsible for your own tax and national insurance contributions.

Please be aware that, if your application is successful, you will be required to undertake 3 weeks training at our Grantham head office before you commence your new role. The training will be on a full time basis and you will be paid on a daily rate.
