Hi, I’m Sam. I’ve worked at PayPlan for over 5 years now.

I talk to people who are coming to terms with their debt for the first time.

This is by far the most rewarding job I’ve held and I get a real sense that I’m making a difference to people’s quality of life.

It’s always nice to know that whoever is on the end of the phone, there will always be something I can do to help them. Whether it’s being able to answer a question or helping them with a life changing solution, there’s always something positive in every call.

I’m always happy to talk to people about what I do at work. I get a great sense of pride out of it. I also think it’s important for people to be open about their financial situation and to seek help as soon as they’re struggling.

It’s easy to bury your head when these things happen but the sooner you seek help the easier it is for me to provide a positive outcome.

I often receive feedback that it’s been a relief to have someone to talk to and share the load with. It is really rewarding to know what that means to people.
