What is an Administration Order?
It’s a formal court arrangement that allows you to make one monthly payment towards your debts.
Legally binding
An Administration Order is a legally binding court agreement.
One monthly payment
You pay the court one affordable monthly payment.
Court distributed payments
The court distributes this payment among your creditors.
No further creditor action
While the order is in place, creditors included in it shouldn’t normally take further action.
Who is an Administration Order for?
You may be eligible if:
You have a CCJ or High Court Judgment you can’t clear straightaway
You can afford regular payments after essential bills
You owe less than £5,000 in total, including interest and charges
You live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland
You have two or more creditors

Things to consider before applying
- You’ll be charged a 10% fee for every payment you make to the court.
- If you want proof the order is complete, you may need to pay an additional £14 for a Certificate of Satisfaction.
- An Administration Order stays on your credit report for six years from the date it starts.
- It will also appear on the Register of Judgments, Orders and Fines.
- If you miss payments, the court can cancel the order or instruct deductions from your wages.
How do I apply for an Administration Order?
The application process is straightforward
- Complete an N92 form
- Take it to your local court, where you will need to sign it in the presence of the Court
- The court will review your situation and decide:
- How long your arrangement should last
- Whether you must repay all or part of the debt
- How much your monthly payment should be
If approved, you start making payments directly to the court.
Is an Administration Order right for you?
An Administration Order could help if:
- Your debts are small
- You already have a CCJ
