What is an Individual Voluntary Arrangement?
An IVA is an alternative to bankruptcy whereby an individual makes a proposal of repayment of a fixed sum to their creditors over a period of time. An IVA requires an Insolvency Practitioner to process the paperwork and act as Supervisor of the arrangement.
