#205300 I'm beginning to get to grips with all of this after years of struggle and also thinking ahead to what may or may not happen, instead of waiting for it all to fall down on my head. If I end up with a charging order on my home and at a later date become bankrupt, will the charging order debt be included as part of the bankruptcy. I'm thinking of a negative equity situation where I may be able to hold on to the house and would like to know what would happen to the charging order debt and whether a charge would remain on the propert even after being discharged.
Thanks for any advice on this.

#205304 Sorry but no.

The charging order has the effect of turning an unsecured debt into a secured debt, so it cannot be included in the bankruptcy
