#4188 How long would you say it takes from completing the bankruptcy petition forms to actually being made bankrupt?

#4191 Could even be the same day if you lived in London, woke up very early and got down to the High Court first thing! However a lot of courts operate appointment systems and this can take up to a month but it is when you take the forms to the court, pay your money over and see the court officers and get your bankruptcy order that all your debts are wiped out. It doesn't take long at all!

#4192 If you live in South London, Croydon County Court does not operate an appointments system. You just have to turn up at 10.00 am on any day.

#4195 We live in London, my bloke lives in west london/middlesex, i think his closest county court is Brentford.

I have been trying to call Brentford county court all morning to find out when they are open but no answer - its so frustrating!
