By feeling better now
#3151 I included council tax/water bills owing for the rest of the year until April this year in my petition but have now realised that as these were not actually in arrears with their payment plans I didnt need to include these necessarily (just confused when it said include debts to utility companies) do you think this will make it difficult when it comes to next years bills? ie will they want the whole year's payment up front? I b***** well hope not??!!!

#3202 You can only include debts in a bankruptcy so depending on whether the council chooses to accept these are debts i.e. should have been paid at the beginning of the year, the debt will be proved at less and you will still be liable for the last few months. I do not think that they can demand it all be paid in one fell swoop for next year as it would be perfectly obvious to them that someone who has just gone bankrupt cannot do that.

However, if anyone knows different, please let us know.
