#1890 Hi,

Can anyone be of help? I am from N.Ireland but moved to London about 6 months ago... all of my debt was accumulated in N.Ireland (apart from about £1000 or so on credit cards since then) and is still tied to my parents home address there - do I therefore need to apply for bankrupcy in N.I or can I file for it in London?

I'd appreciate any advice.

#1892 If your current address is in England you should apply for your bankruptcy here! You have lived here for six months so do satisfy the criteria - basically get a debtor's petition from your local county court that deals with bankruptcy and go ahead! Good luck.
