Scottish and English debt laws are different, so if you are a Scottish resident and have questions on debt, then this is the place to post.

#36380 I found an old letter from an old address saying I had a nil balance in my current account. no recollection of even opening the account, think maybe it had to be opened if I wanted to make use of an ISA account. So I obviously asked for no cheque books or even a bank card. I have just been to the bank and they confirm that my account is still active and have ordered me a new card. I cannot WAIT!!!
Finally going to have a switch card again! This is such a relief for me as been using a basic bank account for so long which has been useful but rubbish cos cant withdraw more than 200 a day, even if you go into the bank with ID.
Still waiting on my prepaid mastercard as well.
I have also bought two tickets for Euromillions tonight, will be the perfect day if I win that.

Sorry bout this spraff just had to sound off about it.

#36492 Sound away, god I miss my switch card.

I can say the debt nightmare is over when I have:

1) Good credit file

2) Getting back a decent bank account

3) A decent holiday to Tenerife

Deffo no debt; loans, credit cards, store cards, HP etc.
