#62269 With regard to assets aquired after the BO, any company assets are the property of the company, not the director, so if you are a discharged bankrupt and a company director and you aquire a vehicle in the company name, it will not be seized as it does not belong to you, even though you might treat it as such.

In the same way, if the company is ltd and aquires debt you cannot service, and you need to shut it down, providing you haven't put any personal guarantees on any property or loans, the liquidator will seize assets of the company to write off debt before shutting it down.
